Traceability is the first step in good biosecurity and begins on-farm.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is running a short survey to gauge Western Australian cattle owners’ general understanding of traceability requirements by answering seven quick questions.

We will use the answers to these questions to guide our future extension to assist cattle producers.

By participating, you will receive a free protective plastic cover for your NVD/waybill book and two producers also have a chance to win $200 worth of cattle NLIS tags.

The survey closes on 30 October and the NLIS tag winners will be notified by email.
